An Introduction to MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction)

Learn about the principles of MBSR

Are you new to mindfulness ? Have you ever heard about MBSR? Are you thinking about taking the 8-week course?


This might be the way to start. 


In this 90 minute session we will explore what is mindfulness and some common misconceptions about meditation. We will talk about the history and the science of this program, including its benefits. And of course... we will practice. 


Come and join us. Everyone is welcome!  All you need to bring is curiosity...and in case you are a long-term practitioner perhaps beginner's mind!

Group Classes

Practicing mindfulness in a group setting can be extremely beneficial. You will be part of a community, to train the muscle of awareness. This belonging and connection can be motivational to develop your own practice, while you connect with others , and their experience.

MBSR is an evidence-based intensive mindfulness training to assist people with stress, anxiety, depression and pain. It was developed at the University of Massachusetts in the 70s. Nowadays it is the most researched mindfulness program in the world. Various supporting research have been published about its benefits of mental health and emotional balance.
