An Introduction to MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction)

Learn about the principles of MBSR

Are you new to mindfulness ? Have you ever heard about MBSR? Are you thinking about taking the 8-week course?


This might be the way to start. 


In this 90 minute session we will explore what is mindfulness and some common misconceptions about meditation. We will talk about the history and the science of this program, including its benefits. And of course... we will practice. 


Come and join us. Everyone is welcome!  All you need to bring is curiosity...and in case you are a long-term practitioner perhaps beginner's mind!

MBSR is an evidence-based intensive mindfulness training to assist people with stress, anxiety, depression and pain. It was developed at the University of Massachusetts in the 70s. Nowadays it is the most researched mindfulness program in the world. Various supporting research have been published about its benefits of mental health and emotional balance.

Private mindful movements session or traditional hatha yoga

This gentle movement practice will be tailored to your abilities. We will focus on slowing down, and learn how to connect your movement to your breath. The intention is to bring awareness to the bodily sensations.
